Welcome!
A quick introduction to the Blog, how often I will post and the purpose of the Blog

Hello! So first of all, thank you for visiting my site! Starting this marketing campaign is exciting, but also nerve-racking as I find my feet, but I thought I'd give you an introduction to what you can expect to find here.
Firstly, I will be aiming to write a blog every month. I do work full-time and am focused on getting the first book (title will be announced when ready) out, but I will try to keep to the schedule!
In the blogs, I will cover progress on my journey, what I'm currently reading/achieving, but I would also love to hear from you as well. If there is any topic you'd like to see me write about and discuss, please interact with my social media (which I am currently setting up) or let me know via email! Though, depending on the quantity of emails, I may not be able to cover all topics. I'd love to know more about what you'd like to see.
This post will be brief, as I am setting up and planning and soon filming content to market myself (a terrifying prospect) whilst also contacting several editors for developmental editing after the book has undergone Beta Reading. Reading-wise, I just finished the Book of Fallen Leaves, which I absolutely loved, particularly the action sequences! Now, I'm moving onto Red Rising, a bit late to the party, but better late than never, I suppose, whilst also keeping up with my writing groups.
My main goal in the next month is to find an editor and get posting and marketing on social media! I have started an Instagram page where I will probably be most active, started an x account (though I've never had x before, so I will probably be limited on there) and a TikTok to post on the #booktok. As a first-time author, website builder and marketer/influencer, I suppose, there is a lot to learn, and no doubt there will be many things I will learn on the journey, but hopefully grow too (just like one of my characters, though a lot less trauma would be appreciated)!
So finally, thank you, and I hope to interact with you and will post when the next blog is up!
